Kivanc Tatlitug Refuses to be in Nancy Ajram's Next Video!!
Many were the rumors that said that Nancy Ajram asked the famous Turkish actor Kivanc Tatlitug (better known as "Mohannad") to be the model in her next video clip.
And although Jiji Lamara, Nancy's manager, denied that she even tried to contact Kivanc while being in Turkey for her fist concert there, the Turkish star had his own statement to give.
Tatlitug said that he refused to take part in Nancy's video, adding that
he doesn't want to be model in any other music video, but rather, he's
retiring from the whole modelling career.
Tatlıtuğ was born in Adana in southern Turkey to a family of five children. His family studied at Yenice Özel Çağ Lisesi where he excelled in basketball. His family later moved to İstanbul so his father could receive treatment for a heart ailment. In İstanbul, he joined the Ülkerspor sports club as a basketball player and model.
Tatlıtuğ was recruited by a modeling agency after his mother sent them pictures of him. He competed in and won the Best Model Of The World modeling pageant in 2002. Since then, he has worked as a professional model and actor.
The blond, blue-eyed actor starred as the character Mehmet in Gümüş in 2005; Mehmet became Mohannad in the wildly popular Arabic language soap opera version, Noor. He became "a heart-throb for many Arab women."
Kivanc has been dating Miss World 2002 and actress Azra Akin since 2002
